New Quadrivium my personal blog. The blog is published occasionally, as a vehicle to communicate ideas in Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, and Science.
I am a mathematics instructor, freelance translator, and content writer based in Southern California. My main interests are Mathematics (mostly Logic and Foundations, Harmonic Analysis, Several Complex Variables, Differential Geometry, and Mathematical Physics), Music (Classical, Jazz and Latin Jazz, theory, philosophy and performance), Philosophy (Philosophy of Time, Philosophy of Mathematics, Philosophy of Science, Buddhist Philosophy, Political Philosophy), and Science.
I play a few instruments for my own entertainment, with varying degrees of proficiency: trombone, Cuban tres, vibraphone, and I am currently learning the viola!
